When exactly does GTA 6 unlock?
The publisher has not announced an unlock time. The Dutch PlayStation Store lists the release as 18 November 2026 at 23:00 UTC, which is midnight in Central Europe on the 19th, and the unlock-time page shows what a midnight-local unlock would mean where you are.

Yes, for digital pre-orders: preloading opens on 12 November 2026, a week before release. The boxed edition holds a download code you can use from the same day.

On the PlayStation Store a pre-order can be refunded up to the release date as long as the main content has not been downloaded or preloaded; after release the usual 14-day window applies when nothing was downloaded. On the Microsoft Store a pre-order can be cancelled from your order history before it is charged, and a charged one goes through the refund request. A shop that sold you a box applies its own terms.
