How items are gathered and verified

Every item on Allfound is written in our own words and carries its sources. This page explains how a row goes from unconfirmed to confirmed.

Own words, with sources

Every item is written by us. A location is a short summary of at most 140 characters that tells you where to look — never a sentence copied from a wiki, a guide or a forum. Each row lists the sources it was checked against.

Unconfirmed until two sources agree

A row is marked Confirmed only when at least two independent sources — different sites, not copies of each other — agree, or when one source is backed by at least five confirmations from players. Anything else shows asUnconfirmed, carries a badge, and is kept out of search engines until it is confirmed.

Nothing invented, nothing leaked

If a location is unknown, the row says so instead of guessing. Leaks, datamines, cheats and exploits are never used as sources, even when they would be the only evidence.

Report a problem

Every item will carry a report link. Reports are reviewed by hand; a report never changes a row on its own.
